Crowborough u3a now has a group investigating climate change and helping people to explore how they can live more sustainably. The aims of the recently established group are very much aligned with Green Transition Crowborough and some of the people who attend were already members of GTC.
The group currently meets on the first Monday of the month at 10am in Wetherspoons. As well as talks and discussions, the intention is to develop a series of visits and events for later in the year.
For those that don’t know about u3a, it is for those people no longer in full-time employment. It gives people the opportunity to make new friends, continue learning and being active. Membership of Crowborough u3a costs £15 per year.
