Crowborough Wildlife Group is building a network of local residents who are interested in nature, wildlife and conservation. The aims of Crowborough Wildlife Group are:

  • to conserve and enhance biodiversity in the local area
  • to contribute to a Local Nature Recovery Strategy
  • to organise practical conservation sessions
  • to encourage designation of additional local wildlife sites and wildlife verges
  • to increase recording of wildlife around Crowborough
  • to encourage everyone to take positive action for wildlife
  • to campaign to protect sites threatened by development or poor management.

Crowborough Wildlife Group meet on Sunday mornings from 10-12 at various local nature reserves to carry out practical conservation tasks, and occasionally run other activities as well such as nature walks.

If you would like to find out more information about the Group and receive emails notifying you of forthcoming activities and news, then please contact Kevin via crowwildgroup@gmail.com.
